WordPress Solutions Built by Experience, Not Feature Lists

After 20 years of building client websites, I got tired of two things about WordPress plugins:

  • Being forced to pay a subscription fee every year.
  • Having to pay for features I don’t need.

So I started building my own…

The Problem with WordPress Plugins Today

You’ve been there. You need a simple solution for a website. After hours of research you finally decide to bite the bullet and buy that “premium” plugin everyone recommends, spend more hours navigating through dozens of features you’ll never use, and end up with something that sort of works… eventually. And in the back of your mind, you’re thinking, “I just paid all that money, so why isn’t it easier to make what I want? …and why do I have to pay for it again next year!?”

There has to be a better way.

Introducing Motion Slider

Finally, a WordPress slider that just works

Motion Slider was born from real client needs, not feature demos. It gives you everything you need to create beautiful, professional sliders – without the bloat, complexity, or premium price tag.

What Makes It Different

  • Universal Integration: Native widgets for Gutenberg, Elementor, and WPBakery
  • Smart Simplicity: Unlimited slides, video backgrounds, responsive design
  • No Feature Bloat: Professional transitions without overwhelming options
  • Fair Pricing: $19 one-time purchase. No subscriptions. No upsells.

Coming Soon: More Solutions That Actually Solve Problems

Motion Slider is just the beginning. I’m building a collection of WordPress plugins that prioritize function over feature count, based on two decades of real-world client work.

Here’s What’s on the Road Map

Probably my biggest frustration in WP has been the calendar ecosystem. For many of my clients, a calendar is needed, but it’s not the main thing – they’re not trying to build a community events board, they’re not selling tickets, they just have things they need to let people know about. So I have two ideas to create…

  1. An add-on plugin for The Events Calendar that creates a grid display of events without their subscription-based pro upsell.
  2. A full calendar plugin that ditches the artificial limitations of freemium plugins. I’ve procrastinated this one for a long time because calendars aren’t easy. My clients need a few things: calendar, list and grid views; past events views; calendar import from Google Calendar or similar, sometimes several sources; color-coding event types.
  3. Ideas, requests?… What else should I build? Let me know →

What Do You Think I Should Build?

Your input shapes what gets built next. I don’t build plugins in a vacuum. Every solution starts with a real frustration from real WordPress users.

The Philosophy Behind Every Plugin

Built from Experience, Not Theory

Every plugin starts with a real client need I’ve encountered in 20 years of web development.

Function Over Features

If a feature doesn’t solve a common problem, it doesn’t make it into the plugin.

Fair Pricing

One-time purchases at reasonable prices. No subscription traps or artificial limitations.

Community-Driven

Your feedback directly influences what gets built next.
